Teaching & training ! Resuscitation on the roadside During our recent rally in Sheffield , U.K. A 45 years old man had heart attack while fighting with police , he collapsed and became unconscious . Police is resuscitation him on the road side to save his life . Patients was revived and admitted to hospital discharged after 48 hours . Learning tips to save lives .
A. Firstly let him / her be flat , maintain airway by blowing air into his lungs with mouth to mouth resuscitation. Call for ambulance.
B. Cardiac compression over the sternum 30 times with two puffs of air into his mouth .( compression with both hands 6 CM deep ) don’t break the ribs. Repeat the cycle .
C. Continue cardiac compression for 40 minutes till patient is revived .
D. Continue cardiac compression if no put out for 40 minutes .
E. Safe transfer to the nearest hospital for ICU admission.
